Feb 28, 2014 - FAMILIES FOR JUSTICE TO MEET WITH FEDERAL JUSTICE MINISTER

Markita Kaulius from BC and Sheri Arsenault from Alberta will be meeting with the Justice Minister of Canada, Mr. Peter MacKay in Calgary Alberta.

We will be speaking about the need for mandatory minimum sentencing for anyone convicted of impaired driving causing death and for the need to change the Criminal Code of Canada to amend the current charge of impaired driving causing death and redefine it as vehicular manslaughter.

We will also be taking the letters that many of you have sent expressing what the impact has been to you and your family over the loss of your child or loved one.

Take care everyone we will let you know how our meeting goes.
