Sep 20, 2014 - FAMILIES FOR JUSTICE EMPTY SHOES CAMPAIGN - CALGARY AB

Hello everyone,

Families For Justice Empty Shoe Campaign will take place on September 20, 2014 at Tomkins Park in S.W. Calgary from 1pm to 3pm.

In Canada, an average of 4 people are killed each day and 174 people are injured due to impaired drivers. 1460 pairs of empty shoes will be laid out to honor and represent the number of people killed each year by an impaired driver last year in Canada.

One of our guest speakers will be the Justice Minister of Alberta Mr. Jonathan Denis. Please come out and support this event as we try to create awareness and education about impaired driving in Canada.

If you have lost a loved one or a friend or know of someone killed by an impaired driver no matter how long it has been please come and join us.

We look forward seeing you at this event. Please share and spread the word.
