Dec 04, 2011 - YOUNG LIVES LAID TO REST AFTER TRAGIC WEEK FOR BEAUMONT

After a tragic week for a town south of Edmonton, the three young men who died in a two vehicle crash are being laid to rest.

The funeral for Brad Arsenault, 18, will be held at the catholic church in Beaumont Monday at 10:00 a.m. A celebration of life for Kole Novak, 18, will take place at the Beaumont Composite High School Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.

The funeral for the Thaddeus Lake, 22, from Leduc was held last week.

The three men were killed November 26 in a collision south of Beaumont. A 28-year-old man, who was travelling in a second vehicle, remains in hospital.

No charges have been laid, but the RCMP believes alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.

Meantime, the funeral for the mayor's eldest daughter was held Friday. The catholic church was at capacity, so the funeral was shown on a live feed at two schools. According to La Nouvelle Beaumont News, Chantal Berube, 28, died suddenly of a blood clot.
