Due to the unprecedented floods that have occurred in southern Alberta the organizers of Cruze for Jr. have postponed the scheduled events.

The purpose of their trip was to bring about community awareness regarding impaired drivers and to share their tragic experience regarding their friend Brandon Thomas, whose life was tragically ended on December 6th, 2012 in Cochrane, Alberta by an alleged impaired driver.

They planned to do this by handing out MADD Canada Ribbons, speaking out for SADD (Students Against Drinking & Driving) and through Families for Justice.

On behalf of Kim and Kayla Thomas, Ben Carew, thank you for all your support in helping us with the Cruze for Jr. Your support has been very much appreciated and heartfelt!

Although their efforts may have been interrupted this year, they will keep his dream alive of heading to the west coast for another time when the force of mother- nature does not have to be reckoned with.

We offer our sincere thoughts and sympathies to the families in southern Alberta who have been impacted with this terrible disaster.
