Thaddeus Lake Music Foundation

The Waldorf Hotel donated $1,200 to the foundation on June 18. They were able to raise the money through several draws and activities during the Black Gold Rodeo from May 31 to June 3. The foundation was created by 22-year-old Thaddeus Lake prior to his tragic passing on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011. The charity music foundation aims to help financially stricken young musicians in the area to reach for their goals. Lake, along with 18-year-olds Bradley Arsenault and Kole Novak were killed by an alleged drunk driver while they were travelling in a Pontiac Grand Am outside of Beaumont in the early morning hours on Nov. 26.
